Taken for Granted
hi all squid here
im going to try something here
this is how i think....
and this is what i think of... most of the time
so most of the population takes their 4 wheeled friends for granted
here is what happens in the morning when you head off to work
put your key in the ignition
conect two terminals
energize a realay from your 6 volt dc battery
that spins your starter
which ingauges with your fly wheel
which starts to roll over your engine
the magnetic pick ups on the fly wheel tell the spark plugs when to fire
the cam shaft which is driven by the fly wheel
open and close valves which allows air to move in and out of the engine
and some times drive the fuel pump as well
gas is injected into the engine by injectors
which are controlled by the cam shaft
the cylinders are conected to a crank shaft which is conected to the fly wheel
when igniton happens and the engine starts to rev
you let go of your key
which release a relay
wich disconects the starter
the starter retracts and goes dormant
with the engine at a good rpm the alternater starts to power the car
and starts to recharge the power you took out of the battery
when you step on the gas to rev the car
the govener tells the gas engine it nees more gas to inject
on a diesel it tell the engine it needs more air, which calls for more diesel
so thats how a car starts kinda
remember to once a week
check your oil
your transmishon fluid
run your ac and your heat full blast for 5 min
check your coolent level when the engine is cold (open the cap, that little tank is usless)
check your tire pressures
for anyone who would like a more indepth on how engines work
please e-mail me
if anyone would like to know how to check oil
break fluid
coolent level
tire pressures
how to change a tire
how to add oil or anyother fluid
how to jump a car properly
or anything else
please e-mail me
i am willing to help
i get a call once a month from my sister
asking how to jump a car
or check something
and i am always willing to help
