First major crash with a new bike

well no matter what you do
or where you go
when you get a new bike
it is going to happen
the frist major, tumbling
bike breaking
body brusing
crash
and it finnaly happend to me and the p2 the other day
i was riden round burlington like i normaly do
today was the frist visit to the out side skate park with the p2
got bored so i decided to ride this local little trail by the bike path
it is a nice little trail and if you push hard
it can be fun
no jumps, or dropp offs, just single track
this path is more of a walking path than a bike path but hay
who is going to stop me from riding anything right?
grunt and i are notorious for riding where we are not supose to!
soo i was doing what i said, pusing it
the path is over grown and runs along a little ridge
on one side is the lake
the other a dropp to some drit
nothing major, but about a 5 foot fall on either side
soooo im pushing it like i said,
going round the small turns
riden fast and then all of a sudden
i did "A grunt"
i hit nothing but my front tire did a 90 degree flip
sent me over the bars and down the side of the ridge
thank god it was not the lake side
i landed on my back, slid about 10 feet on my sholders
then the bike landed on me while i was sliding
still sliding i was pushing the bike off me
i finally came to a stop and the bike was behind me,
when my boddy came to a rest my legs where on top of the bike
as i lay there for a sec, i looked around,
still on my back i saw some one walken twars me
so i got up dusted my self off and say the guy still approching
it was a homeless guy

so i was up and checken the bike
the p2 (bike) has chain stays that are supose to keep the chain
on the cogs
but i guess since the bike dragged or what ever
i pulled the chain out from under both of them
so tryen to put the chain back on was not working
this is when i figured i had to walk the "Walk of shame"
i walked my bike 10 min back to the skate park where i knew some one had allen wrenches.
got there fixed the bike and decided to go home
i was all brused up
beaten up
bike needed more work
and at this point i was just tired
riden by your self sucks alot, if you craash major you are kinda out of luck
soooo it is not to wise to try shit with noone around
and if you do a "Grunt"
and really get hurt you are really shit out of luck
so i went home.
