its wheely time

and i got a story this time to tell ya

i dont know if i told ya, but here we go

well i think its great

before we move on, one thing i like to do is wheely's i think its fun, kinda impressive, even though i cant hold it too long, i can pop that front tire up real high and its just fun, it is also helpfull to know how high you can get that tire so you can kinda get up on top of anything!

so my sister had a boyfriend now
and he is ok, he is nice to her and she is happy
so im happy for her

so he told me he got a new bike and wanted to go real mounting bike riding
and he watned to go with me
so i said, sure, lets go
so i show up in btown there, and call him up
he said he wanted to do trail riding, and no urban
so sure, i took him to the burlington highschool trails
which i havent rode in a long time
so we head out and we hit the trail
the first thing i go for is the larg hill with a huge up hill and
a super techinal end
which i love, so i shoot down the hill
race up the top, clear the frist set of rocks, at least 2 feet of the ground
i put the rear tire on the rocks frist then come to a stop
i look over my sholder to see my sisters boy, we will call him Grace for now
he is still at the top of the hill one foot down squeeking down the hill with his breaks, not behind his seat and looking like he is going to endo, still sitting

so he makes it and rolls down the hill and up and stops at the rocks and gets off his bike and walkes it by me

grace, what are you doing, trying to kill me
squid, you said you wanted my kind of mountain biking
grace, yeah but i dont want to die
squid, ahhh crap i knew something was wrong,
grace, what
squid look at my tire (it was flat, pich flat)
squid, i knew that was going to happen sooner or later, small tube

so i broke the bike down and replaced the tube, with anotehr tube to small for the rim.

we then went down the trail, i was on the bike, grace was off and onn going around the techincal stuff till we found some hard packed single track
we went shooting down the hill till i hear
ring ring ring ring,
graces cell phone, which was in his pocket was going off
so we stoped and it wsa my sister, she talked to grace while i put air in my tire
it was a little squirly riding, what i didt realize is that it was because the tube was way too small for the tire, and the tire was floating around over the tube
so i put three more pumps of air in and pissssssss
i over inflated and poped the tube

squid, shit, god damn it
grace, what
squid, i poped another tube, and now i got to walk it back
grace, haha, well i guess its back to the truck
squid, yep i got tubes back there too
grace, ok

so while i waked the bike back grace rode, we talked about some stuff and he was all excited about riding now
so we get back to josie and i break down the bike
place a tube in there and was unhappy about how it felt, so i took it out and was putting another one in

grace was riding circles around and poppen wheelies, he was doin ok till
thump, he ran in to my truck, it was great, i was just there standing with my wheel in my hand looking at he, he poped up an did the look around to see who cought him
and he cought me looking at him

grace, dont worry i didnt scratch your truck
squid, im not to worried about it (it would have been worth it, but good you didnt)
grace, so we riden
squid, hold on
grace, i want to do that trail stuff again, not the hard stuff
squid, um.... that was all trail stuff, you want to do the hard pack single track
grace, hum... yeah, thats what i ment,
squid, ok i can do that,.... shit
grace, what
squid, i stripped my axle bolt or the nut
grace, so no riden,
squid, nope sorry, we can shoot to the bike shop and i can get a new one,
grace, ok

well we got there, time was running out so we jsut went home after i got a new axle nut, but it was fun, he called and wated to go ridin this weekend, but as you can see im not doing that, im working nights,
but i will try to kill him soon again

but i call him grace cuz of the wheely incident
